Sisters and Brothers,

System Council U8 and Duke Energy met at the bargaining table to negotiate wages and certain insurance benefits yesterday in Wildwood. After exchanging several proposal counters, the Company rejected 5 of our 7 proposals and provided the Union with their "Best and Final Offer", which includes a 3% general wage increase for all classifications listed in Exhibit A of the main contract as well as the Hines and Citrus agreements. There are no other changes.

There will be a ratification vote for all members of IBEW Local 433, 433.1, 626, 626.1, 682, 682.1, 682.2, 1412 and 1491 on Thursday, November 15, 2018. Please check with your individual Local Union for times and places.
